Can a wine denote its origin? Luís Seabra believe that, if you intervene as little as possible in the vineyard-to-bottle process, such as fermenting and ageing the wine in wood instead of in stainless steel, the wines produced are raw and pure.
This is how the Cru project came to be when, in 2012, he began making wines on his own, in the region of Douro and sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, after making a name for himself among the biggest Portuguese brands. It is like a journey that has just begun and that will continue in a constant search to connect with the land.
