Weingut am Nil
Founded in 2010, the winery is one of Germany’s newest, yet was listed as one of the country’s best with its first vintage. It owns 16 hectares of vineyards close to the winery, including some of the best single vineyards in the Rhineland-Palatinate such as Weilberg, Herrenberg and Saumagen. Producing 60,000 bottles per year, leading variations include Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. Johannes Häge is an experienced Master of Cellars, and worked in leading vineyards in the USA, Austria and Germany before joining Weingut am Nil on its formation.
