VILA VITA Parc Pastry Chef
As Head Pastry Chef, Pedro Matos is one of the faces behind the pastry that sweetens the day of the VILA VITA Parc guests. To maintain his high standards, he often takes part in pastry, candy, chocolate and sculpture trainings and courses in Belgium, the country best known for its excellent sweets and chocolate.
He began his career at the Marriott Hotel in Lisbon and then went abroad to the EPIC Sana in Angola. In 2016, Pedro first moved to Algarve to the Salgados Palace Hotel, and went on to spend the next two years at the Vidago Palace Hotel, before joining the Vila Vita Parc team. Recently he completed a ruby chocolate course in Spain with Josep Maria Ribe (Callebaut).
